rock, dark morter

Last wednesday they put a dark morter on a section of rock, but I thought it was too dark.  But this is what the rock was looking like under the tarps.

doors and rock

Grant helped Eric pick up half of our BEAUTIFUL wood doors last Friday, after all the snow Thursday.  They are so lovely.  Then I looked out the window to see rust rock on my house!  Ack, there was no orange or rust rock in the sample or at the show room.  Eric had them stop and we met the next day to go over what it was to look like.  Tyler came out also and wasn't sure why one pallet had all this rust rock on top.  And instead of mixing all three pallets they had only been mixing two of the three types of rock.  Whew!  There are supose to be dark greys in there and some browns and not all long light grey pieces.  The guys pulled the rust off, but as of today the rest is still there...  Some can stay, but it needs a little better mix still.  Monday they started working on rocking the front and I guess will work their way around to this back spot.

flashing passed inspection a couple weeks ago, so we have the go ahead to start rocking and putting up hardy board!

Rock & Insulation

Ok we are going with Try City Blend, the rock on top!  Hope it is super beautiful!

They started insulation January 2!  It's so quiet now, nothing echos when you walk through the house

Friday, September 3rd

Troy and I went up to look at the rock work Doug had done on the lot.  He did a great job.  I really like that he left me a lot of room to plant trees.

rock

Some rock for the outside of the house that I looked at yesterday and a couple tubs I liked that I looked at on Tuesday.  Only to find out that it's cheaper to frame in the tub... so we'll see what I end up doing.
