Week of July 18th: They dug down and had to dig deeper than expected because of all of this spongy soil (good soil?), they needed to hit the rocky stuff. At 4 feet they hit some areas of clay and water came up! So Eric had then dig another foot and now we'll suspend our garages, then trench down and lay these tubes/drain pipes. This has thrown our schedule off a bit, but that is ok, better to not have water seeping through into the basement!
Week of July 25th: They covered the drain pipes and set up the boards to pour the footings the 3rd of August
